The first way to trap a fairy is to somehow find one of it's belongings, or something of great use to it. You will have to set up a moucetrap of some kind, for fairies are easily distracted by things of greater importance, and are very quick and clever. When the fairy is caught, automatically put it in a jar with a lid and air holes.
The next way is to set up a bed inside a small, drawstring bag (clear is best, but any color will do) and go out of the room. If there is a fairy in the bag, pull the strings, not allowing it to escape and quickly go through the same procedure of putting it into a jar with holes (first, of course, opening the bag).
But remember, these only work for people who believe!
